TEAM NEWS: Vidic out while Ferdinand is benched for Manchester United's match against Aston Villa

Jonny Evans and Phil Jones start in defence as the Red Devils look to wrap up their 20th league title while Gabriel Agbonlahor returns for Paul Lambert’s side at Old Trafford

Manchester United are without Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic for tonight’s game against Aston Villa.

The England international is dropped to the bench while the club captain is left out of the side altogether.

Wayne Rooney makes his 400th appearance for Sir Alex Ferguson’s side, he joins Robin van Persie, Antonio Valencia and Shinji Kagawa in attack.

Aston Villa, meanwhile, have Gabriel Agbonlahor back in their side after the forward missed last week’s trip to Fulham with a groin injury.

Charles N’Zogbia retains his place in the side after impressing Paul Lambert with his display at Craven Cottage.
