How our Reds did us proud at the Women’s World Cup

NORWAY

Rounding off our alphabetical recap is Vilde Boe Risa, who represented Norway in this summer’s tournament.

Despite losing their opening match against co-hosts New Zealand, a 0-0 draw against Switzerland was followed up by a 6-0 triumph over the Philippines, earning them a spot in the knockout rounds.

Japan eliminated Norway 3-1 in the Round of 16 but Boe Risa can return from the tournament with her head held high, having displayed her qualities on the world stage.

Our midfielder started three of the four fixtures Norway played Down Under, notably assisting two of their seven goals, including the one in the round of 16.
