During Blackburn’s time in the Premier League, Ewood Park was a difficult place to go. Out of 18 games played away from the Theatre of Dreams in this fixture, the Reds picked up just seven wins, losing four and drawing seven. It has been the matter of the late, late show there on more than one occasion, but Carlos Tevez’s 88th-minute effort to snatch a point which proved crucial in our charge for the title, keeping matters in our own hands. Roque Santa Cruz opened the scoring for the hosts, but as we famously do, we popped up at the end with a late equaliser to ensure the points were shared. In the same season, we went on to win the league by just a two-point margin – making games like this all the more important.
