With his outrageous piece of skill against Tottenham on Thursday night, it was difficult to not put the defender on this list. However, Masuaku has had an outstanding season and has provided consistently good performances for some time now. 

A key trait within the West Ham defender is his ability and desire to get forward, as the full-back has completed on average 3.4 dribbles per game so far this season. This is the third highest in the Premier League, completing more dribbles than the likes of Coutinho, Salah and Sane. 

Pascal Gross has had quite the season since joining from FC Ingolstadt 04 within the summer transfer window, cementing himself as a fan favourite at the Amex Stadium. 

The German midfielder has scored four goals and assisted five this season, contributing to a goal every 188 minutes within the Premier League. In addition to this, Gross made history at the club by scoring their first ever goal within the top flight. 

Furthermore, Gross has demonstrated his creativity this season by producing 2.1 key passes per game, which is equal to Eden Hazard and greater than the likes of Dele Alli and Juan Mata. 

Brady operates on the left side of midfield for Burnley and has been a key figure within the team before getting injured at the beginning of December. However, his creativity has been a key component to their success this season.

Taking into consideration Young went from being cast away from the side to eventually fighting his way back into the first team as a makeshift full-back, Young has had an impressive season. 

The former winger has adapted well to life as a full-back and has provided some excellent performances in the position. In addition to this, Young has contributed to four assists this season and produced a wonderful free-kick against Watford. 

Leicester City have done it again, they have found the next hidden gem in the form of Wilfred Ndidi. The Nigerian is a ball-winning midfielder who boasts one of the highest defensive statistics throughout the entirety of the Premier League. 

Ndidi makes an average of 4.1 tackles per game which is the highest in the EPL and also Europe’s top five leagues. N’Golo Kante, who? In addition to this, he completes 3.2 aerial duels per game which is far greater than the likes of Nemanja Matic and Alvaro Morata.
