Blind: Depay can be Man United's game-changer

The 21-year-old is set to move to Old Trafford after a deal was agreed with PSV Eindhoven, and his international team-mate feels he will have a big impact

Manchester United midfielder Daley Blind believes his Netherlands team-mate Memphis Depay will be a game-changer when he arrives at Old Trafford.

United agreed a €27.5 million deal with PSV to bring the winger to the Premier League this summer after he finished the campaign as Eredivisie’s top scorer with 22 goals.

And Blind feels the 21-year-old has all the attributes to be a success with United due to his work rate as well as his ability on the field.

“He is a player who can change games,” he told United’s official website.

“He has a great free-kick, a great dribble, a great shot.

“He’s young, talented and always wants to work hard. He always wants to better himself on the training pitch, that’s how I know him.

“I think he is quiet, but if he has something to say he will, if you know what I mean. Yes, he is very confident, but he is a good guy.”
