Manchester United will not enjoy coming to Swansea, says Vorm

Swansea City goalkeeper Michel Vorm believes that league leaders Manchester United will not be looking forward to their visit to south Wales for the clash at the Liberty Stadium on Sunday.

The league leaders have been on a scoring spree in recent games and came away with a 1-0 win against Michael Laudrup’s side last season.

But Vorm is determined to bring the Red Devils to a halt after taking points off Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool already this campaign.

“I am sure they don’t like to come here, especially with the form we are in and the confidence we have at home. It is not an easy game for them,” Vorm told Sky Sports.

“We lost 1-0 last season but they know Swansea away is going to be tough. We have to be very good of course but at home I think we have the chance to beat anybody.”

Vorm is likely to feature for the home team after his recent enforced absence with a groin injury, and he admits looking from the sidelines has been tough.

“Watching is not for me,” he added. “You can’t do anything you have to watch. Now I know how a fan feels watching when they are screaming, crying or whatever.

“We did well while I was out which was good. Of course you would rather play, but if we had lost six games or something it would be much harder to come back in but at the moment it’s a joy to watch.”
