Tottenham midfielder Gareth Bale leads a long line of Premier League players congratulating Manchester United on their latest title triumph.
The Welshman has long been linked with a move to Old Trafford, with Spurs unlikely to be able to retain his services if they don’t qualify for the Champions League.
Manchester United have made an enquiry for Gareth Bale but have been stunned by Tottenham’s £70 million asking price, Goal.com exclusively revealed.
On Monday he looked on as Sir Alex Ferguson’s side sealed yet another league title on the way to a potentially record breaking season.
“Congrats to Man United on winning the title” – Spurs forward Gareth Bale congratulated the champions on Twitter.
He was joined by a host of ex-Manchester United stars who still keep an eye on their old team.
