STEP UP IN RECORDS FOR DE GEA

Sadly there was no clean sheet to mark the milestone, but David De Gea – who already has the most clean sheets in United history – has now become the club’s seventh all-time leading appearance maker with 540. In doing so he has moved past Alex Stepney to become the goalkeeper with the most appearances – congrats David!

THE TOP-FOUR RACE

Following this weekend’s round of matches, Liverpool are one point behind United in the table, but we do still have a game in hand over our rivals – who beat Brentford 1-0 on Saturday. Meanwhile, we remain two points behind Newcastle, in third, after the Magpies were bested by Arsenal earlier on Sunday.
