The Blancos No.1. missed the first leg of the last-16 European tie with a broken thumb last week, but is among the travelling party for the trip to Old Trafford
Iker Casillas has been named in Real Madrid’s 24-man squad to face Manchester United in the Champions League on Tuesday.
The goalkeeper had been sidelined since January 23 after he fractured a bone in his left hand during the Blancos‘ Copa del Rey quarter-final victory over Valencia.
However, the Spain international resumed ball training on Friday and has now been deemed fit enough to participate in the second leg of his side’s last-16 European tie.
Elsewhere, defender Nacho will join up with the rest of the squad late due to the 23-year-old having to prepare for the Castilla team’s Segunda Division clash with Ponferradina later on Sunday.
Real Madrid squad to face Manchester United:
Casillas, Adan, Diego Lopez, Jesus; Ramos, Arbeloa, Marcelo, Albiol, Varane, Pepe, Coentrao, Carvalho; Modric, Alonso, Khedira, Ozil, Kaka, Callejon, Di Maria, Essien; Cristiano Ronaldo, Benzema, Higuain, Morata.
